A meter is 100cm.
A man crossed a road 8 cm. wide at a speed of 200.0cm/s.
8cm * 1s/200cm = .04 seconds.
Note: a speed of 200cm per second is the same as saying 1second per 200cm. We use 1/200 so the units will cancel correctly.
