I suspect the other tutor misread the problem....

For the 7 true/false questions with (obviously) 2 answer choices for each, the number of possible sets of answers is 2^7.

For the multiple choice part of the test, there are 6 questions (not just 1), each with 6 answer choices. So the number of possible sets of answers for those questions is 6^6.

Then the total number of possible sets of answers is 2^7 * 6^6.
