I'm not sure I understand the sides that are described. Diagonals of a rhombus divide it into 4 congruent right triangles where the sides (all equal) are the hypotenuse of the triangle.
The diagonals intersect at O, the center. That means each of the two sides of a right triangle is 6 and 8, half the length of the diagonal. That would make the hypotenuse 10, twice a 3-4-5 right triangle.
If I understand the question properly, the sides of this rhombus are 10. I understand the intersection at O, but I am not clear on AC and BC, only that the diagonals of a non-square rhombus are not equal.

Since the diagonals of any rhombus bisect each other and are perpendicular.
