Question 1060161: The measure of the first angle of a triangle is 16 º less than the measure of the second angle. The measure of the third angle is double the measure of the second angle.
Write an algebraic equation to find the measure of each angle and solve the equation for x
Calculate the measure of each angle and check by showing that the sum of the angles = 180º

Let the second angle be n. Then the first angle is n-16, and the third angle is 2n. So:
n+n-16+2n=180
4n=196
n=49
The first angle is 33°, the second angle is 49°, and the third angle is 98°. ☺☺☺☺
