Calculate the area of a trapezoid that has a 20 cm base, a 30 cm base, and a 20 cm height. Multiply this area by 400 cm to find the volume in cubic centimeters. Divide your answer by 1,000,000 if you want the answer in cubic meters.

------
Area of a cross-section:: (1/2)(30+20)*20 = 500 cm^2
-------
Volume = 500*30 = 15000 cm^3
-----
Ans: 15000 cm^3 = 15 litres of water
