and L�B = 2(L+B)
⇒(3+B)�B = 2[3+B +B] = 2(3+2B)
⇒B�+3B = 6 +4B
⇒B�- B -6 =0
⇒B�-3B +2B -6 =0
⇒B(B-3) + 2(B-3) =0
⇒(B-3)(B+2)=0
∴B = 3 cm since value cannot be negative
so length = 3+3 = 6 cm
