You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4/x=12

4=12x

4/12=x

1/3=x

x=1/3

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4%2Fx+=+12
.
multiply both sides by 'x'
.
+4+=+12x+
.
divide both sides by 12
.
+4%2F12+=+x+
or
+1%2F3+=+x+
.
You also could solve this as a cross-multiplication.
.
+4%2Fx+=+12%2F1+
.
+4%2A1+=+12%2Ax+
.
+4+=+12x+
.
+12x+=+4+
.
+x+=+4%2F12+
.
+x+=+1%2F3+
.
Done.
