Question 236475: Ok this has got me.. If I was selling a leather coat at my store and increased the price by 10% then declared a sale at 10% off wouldn't the price be $99?
I worked this two different ways and one way I get $99 and the other I get $98
What am I doing wrong? Can you show me the correct way to do this one?

Question 236470: I am needing to find a formula for finding the percent of increase or decrease of problems such as: What is the % of increase of 45mph to 60mph.
I tried dividing 45/60 and 60/45 and finding the difference between 45 to 60 and multiplying. But nothing is giving me the answer?
