Jason is a salesperson in the electronics dept. of a store. He is 30% short of his goal for the week. His goal is to earn $500. For each CD player he sells, he earns $25. How many CD players do he need to sell in order to meet his goal?

0.30*500 = $150 (amount he is short of his goal)
150/25 = 6 ( number of CD players he need to sell)

.7*500=350 IS WHAT HE HAS MADE.
500-350=150 IS WHAT HE NEEDS TO MAKE.
150/25=6 IS THE NUMBER OF ADDITIONAL CDS HE NEEDS TO SELL TO MAKE HIS GOAL OF $500.
