Question 974515: A department store has a blue blazer on sale for $114, which is 60% of the original price. What is the difference between the original price and sales price ?

My work:
I divided 60 over 100 to get the decimal point, which came out to be 0.6. I then took the $114 and divided it by 0.6 to get the original price of 190. I then subtracted $190-$114 to get $76 to be my answer.
