Question 93098: What was the percent of increase in the sales between month 2 ($56,000) and month 12 ($72,000) of 1990? Round your answer to the nearest tenth. Thanks so much!!
Answer by vertciel(183)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The formula for rate of change is:
Rate of Change = (New percentage - Original Percentage/Original Percentage)
= (72000 - 56000/56000) x 100
= 2/7
Since there was an increase of sales, we add 1 to 2/7, which becomes approximately, 128.571429%.
