Question 850831: In 100 metres race A defeated B in 5 metres and B defeated C in 10 metres , then find how many metres distance did A defeat C ?
Answer by JulietG(1812) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A - 5 = B
B = C + 10
Substitute the value of B into the first equation
A - 5 = C + 10
Subtract 10 from each side
A - 15 = C
.
C was 15m behind A
