Question 822484: Could you please help me solve this? I've asked my friends, but they don't explain it in detail or enough for me to understand: Finding the Percent of Change Jeans: $18; 33% Markup
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Finding the Percent of Change
Jeans: $18; 33% Markup
------
If the original price is 18 and you markup 33%
the selling price is 1.33*18 = $23.90
-------
If the original price was "x" and the marked up price
is $18, then 1.33x = 18
and x = $13.53
