This will get you started.
Note that 1 u.s. pint is equal to one-eighth of a u.s. gallon,
and 1 pint is 16 fluid ounces.

let x be pints of 1% fat milk, and let y be pints of 4% fat milk.
Wanted is (1/3) pint of milk mixture.

Fat quantity: 0.01x+0.04y= amount of fat.

because you wanted 2% fat in the portion of milk to use for the latte.
