Ok, so I have no clue how to begin this problem. If you could show me the formula or how to do one I would really appreciate the help!

50% of 50% (or half of 50%) is 25%

So adding 25% to 50% give you 75%, which means that 75% is 50% more than 50%. So the answer is choice C

The other choices are wrong and here's why:

A) Incorrect, since 25% of 50% is 0.25*0.5 = 12.5%, adding 25% of 50% onto 50% will give you 62.5% and NOT 75%

B) Incorrect, 25% of 75% is 18.75%. Subtract this from 75% to get 56.25%, which is NOT 50%

D) Incorrect. A percentage point is the difference of two consecutive percentages (eg: 25% - 24% = 1 percentage point). So "50 percentage points more than 50% " will give you 100% and NOT 75%
