I have a 99% solution of DMSO solvent and need to know how much water to add to 1 cup of this to make a 70% solution?

It's 0.99 cups of DMSO & 0.01 cups of water.
For the 0.99 cups of DMSO to be 70% of a solution, the total solution is
0.99/0.7 = 1.4143 cups
Add 0.4143 cups of water.
