As bank balance is 20% less than twice Bs bank balance. If As bank balance is $24,000 find Bs bank balance

Let B�s balance be B
Since A�s balance is 20% less than TWICE B�s balance, then we can say that: A = 2B - .2(2B)
A = 2B - .4B
A = 1.6B

Now, since A�s balance = $24,000, then 24,000 = 1.6B
B, or B�s balance = , or $
