come up with the answer. thanks
what number is 27% of 9.14

Change 27% to a decimal by moving the
invisible decimal two places left and
deleting the "%". So 27% becomes .27.

Now since "of" means "times", we multiply
9.14 times .27

  9.14
   .27
  6398
1 8280
2.4678
