Hi
Might recommend for these kinds of questions...
a) assign 'x' to the "of what", for organization purposes in Your mind
b) mutiply by 100 to "move decimal point "over two spots
For example:
What percent of 12 is 2? x = 2/12*100 = 16.7%
82 is 71% of what? .71*x = 82 |x = 82/.71 = 115.5
15% of what number is 250? .15*x = 250 |x = 250/.15 = 1666.7
Also recomend always being senstive to the required answer form
for ex, to the nearest whole number, tenth, hundredth..
As the question did not say, answers given here are to the nearest tenth.
