If I bought a bicycle that cost $385.89..and I paid 7% sales tax..What will the total amount paid for the bike be?
Cost of bicycle = $385.89
Sales tax = 7% of $385.89
= (7/100) * 385.89
= $27.01
Total amount paid = Cost of bicycle + sales tax
= 385.89 + 27.01
= $412.90
