Question 236475: Ok this has got me.. If I was selling a leather coat at my store and increased the price by 10% then declared a sale at 10% off wouldn't the price be $99?
I worked this two different ways and one way I get $99 and the other I get $98
What am I doing wrong? Can you show me the correct way to do this one?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Assuming the original price of the leather coat is $110?
10% off $110 is 110-(110*0.1)= $99 OR 110*0.90 = $99
