how do you find the percent for the pie chart
If a pie chart has three sections with the following quantities,
2, 3, and 4.

The percentages are
2/9 = 22.2%
3/9 = 33.3%
4/9 = 44.4%

how do you find the percent for the pie chart?
you know that the whole pie has 360 degrees (it is a circle)and is =100%(whole circle)
to find the % of the slice measure the angle in degrees and use proportion
360degree - 100%
measure of the angle-x%
then using cross products:
x%=(measure of the angle)*100%/360
