Question 157000: saturn is about 1.429 X 10^9 km from the sun. how many miles is saturn from the sun? write your answer in scientific notation.
Answer by gonzo(654) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
factor is .62137119 to convert from kilometers to miles.
there's probably some rounding error in there.
.62137119 * 1.429 * 10^9 = .8879394305 * 10^9.
standard notation would probably make this 8.879394305 * 10^8 but it's the same number.
