US Sales of hybrid cars for the first quarter of 2012 totaled 106,206 units . This is a 23 percent increase on the figure of units sold for the same period in 2011. Find the number of units sold in 2011 . Round to the nearest units .
23/100 = 0.23
2.23/106206 = 2.165= 216
106206-216= 105990
