Question 1171860: n exam had 56 questions worth a total of 100 points (40 questions worth 1 point and then 16 questions worth various points- ie, 3 points, 5 points, etc.). The sum of the questions totalled 100 points. The exam is worth 70% of my mark, but i need to get 51% on the exam. How many questions do I need to get correct to get 51% on this exam? Thank you
(I think I got a total of about 70 questions correct. most of the 1 point questions and a couple points from each of the other 16 questions).
Thank you

There is not enough information to give you an exact answer. How did you manage to get 70 questions correct when there were only 56 questions asked?
