Let X be the original price.


Then the 20% reduced price is 0.8X.


To restore 0.8X to X, you need to add one fourth of 0.8X to 0.8X.


It means that you need to increase 0.8X by 25%.


ANSWER.  The reduced price must be increased by 25%.
