Question 11263: how do you change a decimal into a percent
Answer by kyle491(5) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A decimal already is a percent. For example, .50 is fifty percent, it can also be written as .5
Here are some other examples:
.7 is 70 Percent
.12 is 12 percent
.123 is 12.3 percent
When doing this, only have a percent with two places, then the rest of the numbers go into decimal form such as: .431 is 43.1 percent.
