this means the 60% of the spectators are male.
25% of the spectators are white.
this mean that 75% of the spectators are non-white.
20% of the male spectators are white means that 80% of the male spectators are non-white.
20% * 60% = .2 * .6 = .12 = 12% of the spectators are white males.
80% * 60% = .8 * .6 = .48 = 48% of the spectators are non-white males.
25% of the spectators are white with 12% of the spectators being white males means that 13% of the spectators are white females.
13% / 40% = .13 / .4 = .325 = 32.5% of the female spectators are white.
this means that 67.5% of the female spectators are non-white.
67.5% * 40% = .675 * .4 = .27 = 27% of the spectators are non-white females.

the charts is read as follows:

if you want to know what percent of the males are white, you take 12% and divide it by 60% to get .12/.6 = .2 = 20% of the males are white.
if you want to know what percent of the females are non-white, you take 27% and divide it by 40% to get .27/.4 = .675 = 67.5% of the females are non-white.
working with percents can be tricky.
converting your percents to decimal equivalents and then doing the arithmetic and then converting the decimal equivalent back to percent is one way of handling it, as i did above.
decimal equivalent = percent / 100.
percent = decimal equivalent * 100.
