sofa is x units of price
.8x is cost of 20% discounted sofa
.75x is cost of 25% discounted sofa
the discount is .2x and .25x is $1000 more
therefore .2x+1000=.25x
.05x=1000
x=20,000 units of price.
20% discounted is 16,000
25% discounted is 15,000, which is a 1000 increase in the discount.
