What must you score on your next quiz to have at least a 90% average?

let x = the score you need to average on the 5 quizzes
:
= 90
add up the scores, multiply both sides by 5
360 + x = 5(90)
x = 450 - 360
x = 90% required on the 5th test to average 90

360 + x = 5(97)
x = 485 - 360
