Question 1037941: There is a 20% sale. A boy pays £160 for a tablet in the sale. What was the original price for the tablet?
Answer by Aldorozos(172) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let's assume the original price as x
x-.2x = 160
Therefore .8x = 160
We divide both sides by .x
x = 160/.8 = 200
