I thought I was pretty good at percentages but these few problems have me stumped. I would appricate any help you could give me. Thank you in advance.
1. The average person expels 200 mL of water per day by sweating. This is 8% of the total output of water from the body. How much is the total output of water.
2. The population of Wyoming increased from 454,000 in 1990 to 494,000 in 2000. Find the percent of increase in population.
3. Find the amount owed if $3000 is borrow at 5%, compounded annually, for 2 years.
