Question 30259: I have 77 patients. 2 of the 77 patients were treated poorly. If my Threshold is 100% excellent treatment, what is my compliance expressed in %? I am getting myself lost. I did p/100=2/77 then I did 77/77p=200/77 then I did p=2.59740 or round to 2.59 but that does not make sense. Can you help me?

A pair of jeans sells for $36 after a 25% discount. What is the original price of the jeans?
x-0.25x=36
0.75x = 36
x = 36/0.75
x = 48
So, the answer is $48. How dod uget the .75 What do u do to get that? Thank You
