A standard rectangular highway billboard sign has a perimeter of 124ft. The length is 6ft more than three times the width. Find the dimension of the sign.

Note: Use a variable to represent the width. Use the same variable to write the length. Add 2 lengths and 2 widths to equal 124.

The equation for perimeter is... P = 2L + 2W
I set it up as.... 124 = 2(6) +2 (w)
Yet I'm stuck after this part. Any help is greatly appreciated.
