Question 326191: This is not a request for an answer to my problem, but rather a more clear explanation of the formula used to find the precentage of a number. My current problem is: 35% of $19.40 I need to find the discount and then the sale price. I am currently enrolled in college and I would appreciate any and all assistance that you can provide to me.
