Question 24375: I have the problem: log[base:2]x(x-4)=5. I took the net step by saying log[base:2]^2-4x=5. Would that be the correct step? I tried following the example on the home page, but I didn't understand it all. Mostly, I didn't see how (2*X^2)=5x+3. I think that's what it was. I don't know if what I'm learing is as advabced as that, I'm only in Integrated 3. But if you could please help me solve the prolem, (step by step is the best) and answer my question about the example, that would be great. thanks.
