Question 138213: Looking to verify adding (or subtracting) logarithms to a single logarithm. I have: "log 5 250 - log 5 10". I believe that if they are the same base, you can simply substract the 250 from 10 to equal 240 (e.g. log 5 240). Right? Thanks in advance.
