Question 78062: -i wasn't sure of how to type in logarithms, i hope you can understand this:
-What is the real value of x in the equation log(base=2 argument=24) - log(base=2 argument=3) = log (base=5 argument=x)?
-i am preparing for the ACT and we haven't covered logarithms yet. i am trying to learn how to find logarithms, but i still do not understand how to find the value of x.

Question 77926: I just can't seem to remember where to input my facts.
my problem is
log with base b 65 &
log with base b (13/5)
use the fact that log with base b5 is .8271 &
log with base b is 1.3181 to evaluate the expression.
How can I remember how to do this? Thanks in advance!!
