Question 960704: Express as a single logarithm: (log base a m - log base a n)+ 2log base a k?
Answer by Theo(13342) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
your problem is:
loga(m) - loga(n) + 2*loga(k)
since 2*loga(k) is equal to loga(k^2), then your problem can be restated as:
loga(m) - loga(n) + loga(k^2)
since loga(m) - loga(n) is equal to loga(m/n), then your problem can be restated as:
loga(m/n) + loga(k^2)
since loga(m/n) + loga(k^2) is equal to loga(m/n * k^2), then your problem can be restated as:
loga(m/n * k^2)
