Question 936101: What is the implied domain of f(x) = 2log(x+3?
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You cannot take the log of a negative number or 0.

So force the argument/input of the log to be positive

x+3 > 0

x > -3

Therefore, the domain is the set of real numbers x such that x > -3
