Question 933187: What's log base 15 (of nothing) minus whole number 3,375? Is it -3? Does log base 15 of nothing equal 0? And since 3,375 can be written in log base form as log base 15 of 3,375 equals 3, can you subtract 0-3 and get negative 3? Could I do it another way by just dividing the two logs since they have the same base so it'd be log base 15 ( 1/3,375) and if you write that in exponential form you should get negative 3? Or is the answer to this question no solution. Explain please! Thanks!

log base 15 of nothing is meaningless.

Study exponential functions first. Learn well how they work.

Study inverse functions, and learn how to find the inverse of functions, and learn about how to work with composition functions.

Study logarithm functions.
