log2(1/square root 2)=?
log2 (1 / sqrt(2) ) = ?
1 / sqrt(2) = 1 / (2 ^ 1/2) = 2 ^ -1/2
log2 (2 ^ -1/2 ) = ?
log2 (2 ^ -1/2 ) = -1/2 = -0.5
y=b^x <==> x=logb(y)
example
8=2^3 <==> 3=log2 (8) which is same as 3 = log2 (2^3)
