i believe you equation looks like this:



if so, then you solve it as follows:

log(4,16) = 2 because 4^2 = 16
log(3,27) = 3 because 3^3 = 27

you can replace log(4,16) in your equation by 2 and you can replace log(3,27) in your equation by 3 to get:



since sqrt(2*2) = sqrt(4) = 2 and since 3^3 = 27, your equation becomes:



since 2*2 = 4, and since 4 - 27 = -23, this simplifies to:



since absolute value of -23 = 23, this simplifies to (23 + 2) / 4 which simplifies to 25 / 4 which simplifies to 6 and 1/4.

if we did this right, that is our solution.

your answer should be 6.25.

i verified with my calculator that this is correct if i translated your equation properly.

keeping the parentheses where they belong was the hardest part.

the best way to do that is to do the equation on paper and then line out the pairs of parentheses that belong with each other.

that helps get it straight.

it's a chore either way, but i think i got it right.
