Question 924805: How so I work ln x + ln8 = 5
Answer by rothauserc(4718) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
note that ln x + ln 8 = ln(8x), then we have
ln(8x) = 5
use definition of logarithm
8x = e^5
note that e is 2.718281828
8x = (2.718281828)^5
8x = 148.413158977
x = 18.551644872
