Express y in terms of x
log base 2 y - log base 2 x = 3 + log base 2 3
.
log base 2 (y/x) = 3 + log base 2 3
log base 2 (y/x) - log base 2 3 = 3
log base 2 (y/x)/3 = 3
log base 2 y/(3x) = 3
y/(3x) = 2^3
y/(3x) = 8
y = 8*3x
y = 24x
