Question 891121: I don't know how to go about solving this, would appreciate some help. It is on logarithms (q1) using the laws of logarithms : express In(a)-4In(b) as a single logarithm;
(ii) fully expand 5log((s(sqrt(t))) as a sum of logarithmic terms.
I hope this question makes some form of sense.
Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
express In(a)-4In(b) as a single logarithm;
Write is as: ln(a) - ln(b^4)
subtracting log is divide
(ii) fully expand 5log((s(sqrt(t))) as a sum of logarithmic terms.
rewrite this using exponent for sq rt
then
Expand
= +
