Expand the logarithmic expression: ln(3e^2)

Solve for x: log(x+9)+log(x)=1

Expand the logarithmic expression: ln(3e^2)
Multiply --> add logs
ln(3e^2) = ln(3) + ln(e^2)
= ln(3) + 2

-Problem 2-
Solve for x: log(x+9)+log(x)=1
Adding logs --> multiply
log((x+9)*x) = 1
log((x+9)*x) = log(10)
x*(x+9) = 10
etc
