Question 862986: Solve for x:
e^sqrt(x) = 3^2
This is what I tried
ln(3^2) = x^1/2
2ln(3) = x^1/2
Stuck here, how can I get the x on its own

Hi
Re TY, the 2.197 is the square root of x = 4.827
e ~ 2.71828 and e^(2.197) = 8.9984
e^sqrt(x) = 3^2
This is what I tried
ln(3^2) = x^1/2 Yes, good work
= x Square both sides
x = 4.827
