Question 838170: Please could you solve the following showing how you get to the answer. Thanks
27^n-1 = 3^6
twenty-seven to the power (n negative one) equals three to the power six
Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(n-1)*log(27) = 6log(3)
n-1 = 6log(3)/log(27)
n = 1 + 6log(3)/log(27)
Using a calculator
n = 1 + 2
n = 3
--------------
If you know
3(n-1) = 6
n-1 = 2
n = 3
