Question 818399: can you show me how to solve:
xlog(45) = 9 + e^1.9
thanks!

Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
xlog(45) = 9 + e^1.9
----
You have an e, the base of natural logs.
Is the log(45) supposed to be ln(45) ?
Or the common log, ?
I'll assume common log, base 10.
---------------
x = (9 + e^1.9)/log(45)
x =~ (9 + 6.68589442)/log(45)
x =~ 15.68589442/1.653212514
x =~ 9.488129512
